Who can take part
- You have stage III lung cancer that involves certain lymph nodes (N2) but is planned to be surgically removable
- Your lung cancer is a non-squamous type and has been confirmed on biopsy or cell tests
- Your cancer has an EGFR mutation: either Ex19del or L858R (or with these along with other EGFR changes)
- You can likely have full surgery: your surgical team must agree it can be completely removed
- Your general health score (ECOG) is 0 or 1, and your health has not noticeably worsened in the last 2 weeks
- You have not had prior lung-cancer treatments like chemotherapy, EGFR pills, immunotherapy, or other study drugs
