Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have stage III or IV non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be cured by surgery alone, but your main tumor can be removed.
- Your cancer has an EGFR mutation (specifically exon 19 deletion or L858R).
- You have not received any previous cancer treatment for lung cancer.
- You are in good enough health to undergo surgery and have adequate organ function (blood, liver, kidneys, and lungs).
- You do not have active brain metastases or other serious medical conditions.
