Who can take part
- You are a woman ages 18 to 75 and agree to sign consent for the study
- Your breast cancer is “triple-negative,” meaning HER2 is negative and estrogen/progesterone receptors are negative
- Your cancer is advanced (stage includes M1 spread to other organs) or meets the trial’s allowed spread limits
- You’ve had prior cancer treatment for recurrence or spread, including an anthracycline-type therapy
- You have at least one measurable tumor spot and can likely tolerate chemotherapy (blood tests and organ tests meet limits)
- You have not taken apatinib or albumin-bound paclitaxel before, and you have not taken other similar targeted “small-molecule” cancer drugs
