Who can take part

  • Your age is 10 to 17 years (and you must have either bipolar disorder or schizophrenia).
  • You are currently “agitated” at screening and start of the study, based on a specific agitation scoring checklist.
  • At the start of the study, you must score at least 4 on one part of the agitation checklist (out of five).
  • If you can become pregnant or have a partner who can, you must agree to use birth control during the study.
  • You have NOT had a new investigational (study) drug in the last 30 days.
