Who can take part
- You are a child or teen age 0 to 18
- You have one of these diagnoses: Moya-moya, sickle cell disease, or an artery stroke/infarction (acute or chronic)
- Your medical team needs an MRI (MR) scan for care, including the usual ASL brain blood-flow sequences
- A parent/guardian has legal permission, and the patient agrees (or does not oppose) to take part
- You can safely have MRI, meaning you do not have common MRI safety problems
- You can stay still enough during the special brain scan so the images are not blurred
