  • Your child is between 6 months and 12 years old.
  • Your child is already scheduled to have an MRI of the brain.
  • Your child does not have a known brain tumor.
  • Your child does not have a tangle of abnormal blood vessels (vascular malformation) in the brain.
  • Your child does not have hydrocephalus (water on the brain).
