Who can take part

  • You have newly diagnosed metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that can’t be cured with surgery or focused radiation to the chest area.
  • Your lung tumor tests positive for a specific EGFR mutation known to respond to osimertinib (like exon 19 deletion or L858R).
  • Your brain MRI shows brain metastases, and you have fewer than 20 brain spots at the study start; symptoms should be mild or none.
  • You must be able to take osimertinib at the time the study starts, and your doctor must think you are eligible for SRS radiation.
  • You have good enough overall health for study participation (ECOG score 0–2) and are expected to live at least 6 months.
  • You have not previously had osimertinib, immune checkpoint cancer therapy, or any prior SRS/whole-brain radiation.
