Compare two eye laser procedures for vision correction

This study compares two types of laser surgery for vision problems (PRK versus another approach called “WFO ablation”) to see which works better for clear sight. You may be a candidate if you meet specific eye measurements and can return for follow-up visits.

Who can take part

  • You’re a military dependent (DoD beneficiary) age 21–50
  • Your eye measurements must fit PRK or LASIK (stable prescription with very small change)
  • You must live within 60 miles and plan to stay nearby for at least 6 months after surgery
  • You must be willing to attend all follow-up visits required by the study
  • You should not want monovision (making one eye for distance and one for near)
