Who can take part
- You’re age 18 or older and can read, understand, and sign consent forms
- Your plan is up to a four-level lumbar/thoraco-lumbar posterolateral spine fusion (from T11 to S1)
- Your leg pain and/or back pain has not improved after at least 3 months of non-surgical care
- You have NOT had a prior posterolateral fusion at the same levels you’re being treated now
- You have NOT had prior decompression surgery at the same levels
- You’re not pregnant (and not planning pregnancy in the next 12 months)
