Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have a lower spine problem, such as a pinched nerve, a slipped vertebra, or a small curve
  • You had a specific type of back surgery (ALIF or XLIF) using titanium cages with Fibergraft
  • You agree to have CT scans to check bone healing 1 to 2 years after surgery
  • You do not have certain other conditions like fractures, cancer, or Parkinson's disease
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 35
