Who can take part

  • You have been referred to get a central line (a catheter or feeding/nutrition line into a major vein).
  • Your medical team says standard central-line placement is not possible because of vein blockage or another access problem in your upper body.
  • Your condition involves a planned access route such as the neck/chest veins, jugular, or similar major veins.
  • You are willing and able to sign written informed consent.
  • You do not have certain major blood-flow blockages that would make this device unsafe or unusable (notably in the right leg veins or big vein near the liver).
  • You do not have an acute blood clot in the vessel route the device would need to cross, and you don’t have arterial/heart/brain vessel blockages that affect safety.
