Who can take part
- Be 18 years old or older
- Have had a recent heart attack called AMI (either STEMI or NSTEMI)
- Be able and willing to sign a written consent form
- Plan to be discharged from the hospital within 7 days after your heart attack
- Be willing to have a small implantable heart monitor placed within 21 days after your heart attack
