Who can take part

  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Have had a recent heart attack called AMI (either STEMI or NSTEMI)
  • Be able and willing to sign a written consent form
  • Plan to be discharged from the hospital within 7 days after your heart attack
  • Be willing to have a small implantable heart monitor placed within 21 days after your heart attack
