Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You had your first stroke that affected your primary visual cortex and left you blind in part of your visual field (you did not have later strokes causing the visual damage).
  • Your brain scan (MRI or CT) shows the stroke mainly affected the visual cortex, not that area completely missing.
  • Your vision testing (visual perimetry) shows a clear visual perception deficit in part of your visual field.
  • You must be able to precisely focus on targets and complete the required visual training exercises.
  • You must be able to receive the brain stimulation treatment (tRNS) safely and have no disqualifying medical or mental health conditions.
