Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia (low blood sugar caused by too much insulin).
  • You have tried medicines like diazoxide or octreotide, and they did not work.
  • Your endocrinologist believes standard care can’t safely control your condition and recommends surgery to prevent severe episodes and protect brain function.
  • You (if able) or a parent/legal guardian can sign informed consent to take part.
  • You can safely undergo MRI; if MRI isn’t safe for you, the study may use a PET/CT scan instead.
