Who can take part

  • Your spinal cord injury happened more than 1 year ago
  • Your injury affects the upper part of your body control (T10 or higher)
  • You are done with inpatient rehabilitation (you’re discharged)
  • You currently have moderate-to-severe core/trunk control problems (for example, you can’t sit upright while lifting your arms or reaching safely)
  • You are new to this type of activity-based training and the specific skin-based spinal stimulation used in the study
