Who can take part
- You’re age 18 or older
- You have a severely failing bioprosthetic (previous) aortic valve and doctors recommend a valve-in-valve TAVR
- Your valve can be opened up using a high-pressure balloon, as your doctors expect for this procedure
- Your heart team says surgery replacement has too high risk (prohibitive or high mortality risk)
- Your CT scan shows you have suitable blood vessel anatomy for the delivery device (including femoral access and carotid/subclavian routes)
- You have no recent stroke (within the last 6 months) and no significant carotid narrowing (50% or more)
