Who can take part

  • You have a narrowed aortic valve (aortic valve stenosis) from valve wear over time
  • Your surgery risk is intermediate or low (your heart team estimates your 30-day surgical death risk is <8%)
  • You have heart symptoms classified as NYHA II, III, or IV
  • Your expected life span is at least 2 years (or at least 1 year for some subgroups)
  • You do NOT have certain recent heart events (like a heart attack in the past 30 days)
  • You meet heart scan and anatomy needs (valve type, calcium, vessel size, and fit numbers for delivery)
