Testing a pulse field therapy for reduced heart ischemia

This trial studies whether pulse electromagnetic field therapy can improve signs of reduced blood flow to the heart (ischemia) in people who cannot or will not get a coronary procedure during the study. If you already take standard heart medicines, you may be eligible to add this therapy and undergo exercise testing and heart imaging.

Who can take part

  • You’re 18 years or older.
  • You have known heart ischemia and cannot or will not have a coronary procedure during the study (like stents or other interventions).
  • Past tests (like an echocardiogram, nuclear scan, or a standard ECG in the last 6 months) showed ischemia.
  • Your heart pumping strength is preserved: left ventricular ejection fraction over 40% on an echo done in the last 3 months.
  • You can do a supervised exercise test, and any limits are not mainly from orthopedic problems (like severe joint issues).
