Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have atrial fibrillation that does not come and go on its own (persistent AFib).
- You have heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) confirmed by symptoms and test results.
- You have not had atrial fibrillation for more than 3 years.
- Your left atrium is not too large (less than 50 mm on echo).
- You have not had prior heart surgery or ablation on the left side of your heart.
