This early-phase study tests a PD-1 antibody delivered directly into the brain fluid (intrathecal space) to treat metastatic solid tumors that have spread to the lining around the brain/spinal cord (leptomeningeal disease). It aims to see whether this approach can better control cancer in that area and whether it’s safe.

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older and able to understand and sign consent
  • Have leptomeningeal disease confirmed by spinal fluid (CSF) and/or MRI
  • Be well enough to participate (Karnofsky score above 50) and meet “good risk” criteria
  • Be able to come to study visits and follow study rules, including not donating blood during treatment and for 30 days after
  • Have a planned way to receive treatment into brain fluid through an intraventricular catheter (for example an Ommaya reservoir)
  • Have no pregnancy or breastfeeding, and use very effective birth control if you can become pregnant (or your partner can) during treatment and for 150 days after the last dose
