Who can take part
- Age 45–80 and a diagnosis of probable or possible MSA, or suggestive/probable/possible PSP
- Estimated survival of at least 3 years, as judged by the study doctor
- Stable medical treatments for at least 30 days before screening (no dose or timing changes)
- Can follow study visits and restrictions, and likely complete all scheduled tests
- Able to have MRI and PET scans (no major MRI safety problems, and tolerate lying still)
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding; females must use approved birth control and have pregnancy tests done
