Who can take part
- You must sign an informed consent form to join
- You must already have at least one titanium dental implant in your jaw
- You must not have a significant whole-body health problem (like diabetes)
- You must not be a heavy smoker (under 10 cigarettes per day)
- You must not be pregnant
- Your gum condition must be stable, with no active periodontitis (gum pocket depth 4 mm or less)
- You must not take antibiotics or other medicines that could affect infection during the study or for up to 3 months before it starts
