  • You must be under 18 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
  • Your recent A1c lab value must be 6.5% or higher (A1c is an average blood sugar measure)
  • You receive diabetes care at the Rady Children’s Hospital Diabetes Clinic
  • No other child in your household can already be enrolled in this same study
