Who can take part
- You are a patient at Penn State Health St. Joe's Medical Center.
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months.
- Your most recent A1c is 7% or higher (blood sugar level).
- You meet low-income guidelines: enrolled in SNAP, uninsured, on Medicaid, or food insecure.
- You can give a blood sample, read and write in English or Spanish, and are willing to be contacted by the study team.
- You have not taken part in a Veggie Rx program or diabetes education classes in the past year and are not pregnant or planning pregnancy.
