  • Be 18 or older, and able to understand and agree to the study
  • Have persistent daily low back pain for at least 3 months with average pain of 3/10 or higher
  • Be able to read and write English well enough for English study questionnaires
  • Do not have kidney or liver problems
  • No past or current alcohol or substance misuse or treatment for it
