Who can take part

  • Be between 21 and 65 years old
  • Have had lower back pain for at least 3 months
  • Be off cannabis for at least 30 days, but have used THC in the past 2 years
  • Do not take opioids (and agree not to take opioids or barbiturates during the study)
  • If you could become pregnant: you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Be able to safely do study testing, including MRI (if required) and blood draws
