Who can take part

  • You must be a man, age 40–80.
  • You have prostate cancer that appears limited to the prostate (called clinically localized).
  • Your doctors have scheduled you for radical prostatectomy (surgery to remove the prostate).
  • You can read and speak English or Spanish.
  • You must be willing to sign consent and follow the study instructions.
  • You should not have had major prior pelvic surgery or prior radiation to the pelvis.
