Drug EG-301 for dry macular degeneration with patchy vision loss

Non-Exudative (Dry) Age-related Macular Degeneration (dAMD)

This Phase 2 study tests whether EG-301 is safe and effective for people with a specific type of dry age-related macular degeneration that affects the “geographic atrophy” area. If you have stable eye imaging features and recent worsening vision, you may be able to join and help find a better treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are 50 to 75 years old and can attend screening and study visits
  • You can sign informed consent and agree to follow the study rules
  • You have dry (non-wet) AMD with geographic atrophy in one study eye and it fits specific eye scan measurements
  • Your vision has gotten worse over the last 12 months, not from another eye problem
  • Your vision in the study eye is within a specific range (about 20/25 to 20/200)
  • Your central retina area must look well preserved on eye scans (no signs of the wet form)
