Who can take part
- You are 55 years of age or older.
- You have geographic atrophy (GA) from dry AMD in at least one eye, and the GA is located outside the very center of the macula (fovea).
- The GA lesion area in the study eye is between 1.25 and 12.0 mm² (about the size of a small to medium spot).
- Your vision in the study eye is 20/100 or better (can read large print on an eye chart).
- You have no other eye diseases that could interfere with the study, and you haven't had laser treatment in the macula or certain other eye treatments recently.
- You have not used other investigational treatments for AMD in the last 6 months, and you are not using certain supplements like high-dose lutein.
