Who can take part
- Be an adult age 18 or older
- Be scheduled for a lung cancer operation (left lung major resection, or right upper resection with lymph node removal)
- Be able to read, understand, and sign the consent form
- If you can become pregnant: use effective birth control and have a negative pregnancy test
- Do not have a past history of swallowing/eating disorders
