Who can take part
- You are between 0 and 18 years old
- You are scheduled for a scope test to check vocal cord movement
- You had surgery on a major blood vessel, esophagus, or windpipe that could affect a nerve controlling vocal cords
- You do not have a tracheostomy tube in place
- You do not have a history of vocal cord paralysis or weakness
- Your neck can be placed in a neutral or slightly tilted back position without causing harm
