Who can take part

  • You are between 0 and 18 years old
  • You are scheduled for a scope test to check vocal cord movement
  • You had surgery on a major blood vessel, esophagus, or windpipe that could affect a nerve controlling vocal cords
  • You do not have a tracheostomy tube in place
  • You do not have a history of vocal cord paralysis or weakness
  • Your neck can be placed in a neutral or slightly tilted back position without causing harm
