Who can take part
- Have colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver, and your care team thinks you may still be able to get curative-intent surgery
- Your doctors expect your “future liver” volume (sFLR) is too low without a procedure like right portal vein embolization (PVE)
- Have finished at least 4 chemotherapy cycles (about 2 months) before entering the study
- Your overall health should be good enough for surgery (function tests such as ECOG 0–1 and adequate stamina/strength) and your surgeon says you can proceed
- Have blood tests that are safe for treatment and surgery (bilirubin not too high, platelets not too low, albumin not too low)
- You must be able to read and consent in English, and you must be able to provide written informed consent
