New delivery method for liver cancer radiation therapy

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older with liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed
  • Your cancer has spread from another part of the body or started in the liver
  • You are eligible for a type of internal radiation therapy called Y90-radioembolization
  • You can care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2) and are expected to live at least 3 months
  • You have at least one liver tumor that is 1.2 inches (3 cm) or larger
  • You do not have tumors that grow in a scattered, infiltrative pattern
