Who can take part
- You have lung cancer confirmed as adenocarcinoma or large cell carcinoma (tissue or cytology sample).
- Your cancer is stage IIIA, IIIB, or IIIC (newly staged) and your team says you are a good candidate for strong chemoradiation.
- There is at least one measurable tumor spot that is large enough to track on scans (about 1 cm or 2 cm depending on the test).
- You are age 18 or older, and you weigh over 30 kg.
- Your blood counts and organ function are strong enough (including white blood cells, platelets, liver tests, and kidney function).
- You have not had overlapping radiation to the same area before, and you do not have active brain metastases.
