Who can take part
- You are an adult (age 20 or older) and able to give signed consent
- You have at least one pressure ulcer that is stage 2 or stage 3, caused by friction injury
- The ulcer must be between 5 and 50 square centimeters (measured with a ruler)
- If the ulcer is on the lower body/foot, nearby blood flow must be adequate (e.g., warm skin and palpable pulses)
- You must be able to pause certain medicines: stop systemic corticosteroids and immune medicines, and stop local wound treatments (like topical antibiotics/steroids/light treatments) during the study
- You need lab values that show your blood, liver, nutrition, and kidneys are healthy enough for study treatment
