Who can take part

  • You have liver cancer confirmed by scan findings or biopsy
  • Your cancer is only in the liver (no spread outside the liver)
  • The tumor(s) are treatable by this approach: up to 3 tumors, total size up to 12 cm
  • You are 18 or older, and your overall function is not too limited (performance status 0–2)
  • Your liver can handle treatment (Child-Pugh score 8 or less, or no cirrhosis)
  • Your blood counts and organ tests are within required ranges, and you can attend follow-up visits
