Who can take part

  • Your GIST must be confirmed by biopsy and advanced (spread or cannot be fully removed by surgery)
  • Your cancer must have grown or you had side effects despite taking imatinib
  • You must have had prior treatment for GIST (how much depends on which part of the trial)
  • You must have at least one measurable tumor on imaging
  • Your general health must allow for cancer treatment (ECOG score 0–2)
  • Your blood work and organ function must be acceptable for the study
