Who can take part

  • You must be able to sign a consent form and follow the study schedule for visits and tests.
  • Your cancer must be a solid tumor confirmed by biopsy and be on single-drug anti–PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy as per Italian approval rules.
  • Your cancer must be considered “stable” based on the study’s monitoring form and scan rules.
  • CT or MRI scans must show at least 2 measurable spots; at least one spot will be tracked by standard response rules and one spot must be suitable for carbon ion radiation.
  • Your health and daily functioning must be limited to an ECOG score of 0 to 2 (generally able to do self-care).
