Who can take part
- Your lung cancer must have grown despite one prior immunotherapy treatment (such as Keytruda or Opdivo)
- You must have measurable tumors on imaging that are small enough to safely receive focused radiation (roughly 5 cm or smaller)
- You cannot have certain genetic mutations (EGFR, ALK, ROS1, RET, NTRK, or HER2) that make immunotherapy less effective
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to handle the combined treatment without serious other illnesses
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must use birth control during and for 3 months after treatment
- You cannot have significant lung scarring (interstitial lung disease) or a history of severe lung inflammation from prior immunotherapy
