PET-MRI scan study for oxygen levels in head and neck tumors

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 80 years old
  • You have squamous cell cancer in the head and neck (mouth, throat, or voice box)
  • Your tumor is at least 20 mm (about 2 cm) based on exam or CT/MRI
  • You can understand the study and you can sign consent
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you cannot join
  • You cannot have had chemo, immunotherapy/biologic therapy, radiation, or major surgery for this cancer before
