Who can take part

  • You can read, understand, and sign the consent form for this study.
  • You have confirmed squamous cell cancer in the head/neck area (throat, voice box, mouth, or certain sinus/nose areas).
  • Your cancer is locally advanced (higher stage) but has not clearly spread to distant sites on scans (M0).
  • Your treatment plan is “curative intent” radiation therapy, with or without chemo at the same time.
  • Your kidney function is adequate (creatinine clearance at least 60 ml/min).
