Who can take part
- Have confirmed colon or rectal adenocarcinoma that is metastatic or locally advanced and cannot be removed with surgery
- Tumor tissue must be available for testing (old stored tumor tissue preferred, or a new biopsy if needed)
- Your cancer must be HER2-positive on a lab test, and your RAS must be “wild-type” (RAS-WT)
- You must have measurable tumor spots on scans that can be followed, and at least some spots must not have been previously irradiated
- You should be well enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 0 or 1) and have brain scan results showing no brain metastases or only previously treated, not-symptom brain metastases
