Who can take part

  • Your child is 8 to 12 years old and has a doctor-confirmed type 1 diabetes diagnosis
  • Your child and/or parent reports diabetes distress that is high enough to meet the trial’s cutoff
  • Your child is using an intensive insulin plan (either an insulin pump or multiple daily injections)
  • Both the child and the parent (if involved) can speak English
  • Your child does not have a known allergy or skin sensitivity to CGM adhesives or skin preparation
  • Your child does not have certain other long-term health problems (example given: kidney disease)
