Who can take part
- You are 18–60 years old and can understand and sign consent.
- You have AML (not the special subtype called M3) and it is considered higher-risk, such as poor genetic risk, not responding to initial treatment, has come back, or is secondary AML.
- Your activity level is not too low (ECOG 0 to 3) and you are expected to live at least 3 months.
- Your liver, blood counts, and kidney function must meet specific lab thresholds before starting the first treatment.
- You must not have an uncontrolled active infection, and you cannot have hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV before joining.
- You cannot have severe graft-versus-host disease (grade III–IV) after transplant.
