Who can take part

  • You have new or ongoing weakness in one leg after a past brain injury like stroke or traumatic brain injury
  • Your injury happened at least 15 days ago but no more than 6 months ago
  • You speak French and can understand instructions well enough to consent
  • You are in the rehab phase where you cannot walk independently when you arrive at the rehab program
  • You have French social insurance and can attend regular weekly rehab visits
  • You have no prior history of other major traumatic, vascular, or nerve/brain-wasting (neurodegenerative) conditions
