Vibration to Help Stroke Recovery: Balance and Walking

This study tests whether vibrations applied to the bottom of your feet can help improve walking and balance after stroke. You'll receive plantar vibration therapy (gentle vibrations under your feet) while performing walking and balance exercises to see if it helps your recovery.

Who can take part
- At least 6 months since your stroke
- Able to stand on your own for 20 seconds or longer
- Able to walk 10 meters (about 33 feet) on your own, with or without a cane or brace
- Age 18–75 years
- Lower leg strength at stage 4 or higher on the Brunnstrom scale (your doctor can tell you this)
- No severe arthritis, cancer, neuropathy, balance disorders, or recent leg surgery or injury
