Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and can sign consent in writing
- Your breathing blockage is caused mainly by (1) septal deviation, (2) enlarged turbinates, and (3) outside nasal valve collapse, based on exam
- You have a septal deviation and it is seen on direct or endoscopic exam
- You have enlarged lower turbinates seen on exam (direct or endoscopic)
- Your outside nasal valve collapses (for example, you show alar collapse at baseline or with forced inspiration, or a “Modified Cottle” test is positive)
- You have NOT had prior functional nose surgery, and your case is not planned as cosmetic-only rhinoplasty
