Who can take part

  • You need a recent MRI scan within 14 days before starting treatment
  • Age must be 6 months to 30 years
  • Your brain tumor must be measurable on MRI in at least two areas
  • You must be well enough to take part (Karnofsky/Lansky score at least 60)
  • You must have recovered from prior radiation/chemo side effects to mild levels (grade 1–2) or be clinically stable
  • Doctors must place a small drain device in the brain area and a microdialysis probe for study monitoring
