New CAR T-cell treatment for DIPG brain tumor

Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with DIPG, a type of brain tumor in the brainstem, and have finished standard radiation therapy.
  • You need to be between 1 and 18 years old.
  • You must have a special catheter (like an Ommaya reservoir) placed in your brain to deliver the study treatment directly into the fluid around your brain.
  • You should be able to perform most daily activities (score of 60 or higher on a function scale).
  • Your major organs (liver, kidneys, heart, lungs) must be working well enough, and you must not have serious infections or other active cancers.
