Who can take part

  • You have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) with a UIP pattern
  • You need a chest CT scan (HRCT) for medical evaluation
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You are not pregnant (if you could become pregnant, this is important)
  • You can understand and sign the consent form
  • You do not have COPD, a neuromuscular disease, or a recent acute worsening of IPF
